Ember & Veil gifts are created for women moving through heartbreak, recovery, reinvention, new beginnings, and the quiet work of becoming themselves again.

Whether you are sending a book, a ritual object, or a thoughtfully curated gift box, this page explains how gifting works and what to expect.

Sending a Gift Directly to the Recipient

You may ship an order directly to the person receiving the gift.

At checkout:

1. Enter the recipient’s name and delivery address in the shipping section.

2. Use your own email address for order confirmations and tracking updates.

3. Add a gift message when that option is available.

4. Review the address carefully before submitting the order.

Each order can generally be shipped to one address.

To send gifts to multiple recipients, please place a separate order for each delivery address.

Gift Messages

Selected products and gift boxes include the option to add a personal message.

Please enter your message exactly as you would like it to appear, including:

• names

• spelling

• punctuation

• capitalization

• closing signature

We may adjust spacing or line breaks to fit the card, but we will not change the meaning of your message.

Gift messages should be respectful and appropriate. Ember & Veil reserves the right to decline messages containing threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or unlawful content.

Are Prices Included in Gift Packages?

We do not include a standard printed invoice showing prices inside gift orders unless required for operational or legal reasons.

The purchaser will receive the full order confirmation and payment details electronically.

Packing slips, when included, may show the recipient’s name and order contents without displaying pricing.

Packaging varies by product.

Depending on the item, your gift may include:

Signed and Inscribed Books

Selected book listings may offer:

When requesting an inscription, please enter the recipient’s name and message clearly.

Long inscriptions may be shortened or adjusted for space when necessary.

Signed and personally inscribed books are generally final sale.

Gift Cards

Digital gift cards may be available for customers who prefer to let the recipient choose.

Gift cards are typically delivered electronically to the purchaser or recipient email provided during checkout.

Gift cards:

• are not redeemable for cash, except where required by law

• cannot usually be replaced if deleted or shared with the wrong person

• should be stored securely

• may be used only through the Ember & Veil website

Gift Receipts and Returns

Gift recipients may contact us regarding eligible returns using the order number or purchaser information.

When an eligible gift is returned:

• store credit may be issued to the recipient

• refunds may be issued to the purchaser’s original payment method

• original shipping charges are generally nonrefundable

• personalized, signed, custom, digital, and final-sale items remain nonreturnable

Shipping Gifts

Gift orders follow the same processing and shipping timelines as other purchases.

Please remember:

• processing time is separate from shipping time

• personalized and made-to-order products may take longer

• carrier delivery estimates are not guaranteed

• holiday and launch periods may increase processing time

• expedited shipping does not always shorten production time

For time-sensitive occasions, order as early as possible.

Holiday and Occasion Deadlines

Recommended order-by dates may be posted during major holidays or seasonal launches.

These dates are estimates and do not guarantee delivery by a specific date.

Delivery can be affected by:

For birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, recovery milestones, and other important dates, we recommend ordering early.

Sending a Gift Anonymously

When available, you may omit your name from the gift message.

However, the recipient may still see certain identifying details through:

We cannot guarantee complete anonymity.

Some Ember & Veil gifts are designed for women experiencing heartbreak, divorce, grief, recovery, burnout, or major life transitions.

We encourage thoughtful, sensitive gifting.

A supportive message may say:

• I’m walking beside you.

• You do not have to do this alone.

• Your life is not over.

• I hope this reminds you to choose yourself.

• You are allowed to begin again.

• No response is needed. This is simply for you.

Avoid language that pressures the recipient to heal quickly, forgive, feel grateful, or “move on.”

The most meaningful gift often says:

I see what this season is asking of you, and I am here.

Spiritual and Wellness Gifts

Crystals, affirmation pieces, journals, candles, and ritual objects are offered for reflection, symbolism, personal growth, and inspiration.

They do not guarantee:

• healing

• reconciliation

• manifestation

• financial outcomes

• relationship outcomes

They are not substitutes for professional medical care, psychotherapy, legal advice, or emergency support.

Damaged Gift Orders

If a gift arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 3 days of delivery.

Please include:

• the order number

• photographs of the item

• photographs of the interior packaging

• photographs of the shipping package

• a photograph of the shipping label

Please retain the item and all original packaging while the issue is reviewed.
